About Primary Healthcare Initiative PPHI Sindh
The Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Sindh is a program that aims to improve the health of people living in rural areas of Sindh, Pakistan. It is a partnership between the Government of Sindh and a private company called PPHI Sindh. PPHI Sindh manages 1140 health facilities that provide services such as maternal and child health, immunization, nutrition, family planning, and emergency care.
PPHI Sindh also trains and hires more health workers, especially in remote and hard-to-access areas. PPHI Sindh has been praised by many organizations for increasing the quality and utilization of health services within the existing budget.
